We are Kat & Kat and are starting our own cupcake company making Organic, Gluten Free, and Traditional Cupcakes. We make everything from scratch and come up with unique recipe ideas. This Blog will be our way of getting feedback from people about what they think of our cupcake flavors. Please feel free to be totally honest. :)

Happy 4th!
I hope you had a fun and safe fourth of July. The week of the fourth we were really busy. We had a big order to fill and only a few days to fill it. In order to ensure freshness and quality we wait until the last minute to bake everything, and then decorate it the next day. This particular order was for a Golf resort. They wanted some Golf themed cupcakes to go along with some holiday cupcakes. They also asked for other baked goods. So........
These are our famous red velvet cupcakes and they certainly didn't let us down. They were so popular that people couldn't get enough and kept coming back for more and more. I must admit, they were absolutely divine, and looked so cute with the red, white and blue sprinkles.
We also made some chocolate chip with heath bar, and snicker doodle cookies. Theses were so yummy, and looked so cute with the patriotic ribbon we tied around each cookie. These were a hit!
Introducing...... Cake Bites! Oh.... My..... Goodness!! These are a little piece of heaven right here. These have got to be the most delicious things EVER! The best thing about them is that the portions are small enough you can enjoy them guilt free! These were our biggest hit! We made chocolate and red velvet cake bites, and then hand dipped them in white chocolate. The red velvet were super yummy and super cute for the 4th of July.
These were our golf themed cupcakes, and they turned out super cute! We used fondant to make the golf balls, and our signature butter cream was colored green and piped onto the cupcakes using a grass tip. This frosting was the best frosting we have ever made. It took all the will power we could muster to not eat all the frosting before frosting the cupcakes.
Well, we were super excited about this order. It was a trial run to see how well they sold at the Golf resort, and we figured what better day than the 4th of July. If our baked goods did well then the Golf resort would become a permanent client with some big orders to fill. We are super excited to say that they sold out of our deliciousness in only 4 hours! The reason that is so exciting is because in only 4 hours they sold four dozen cupcakes, three dozen cake bites, three dozen cookies, and a dozen butter almond coffee bars. Apparently the most popular item was our red velvet cupcakes and cake bites. People couldn't get enough, and even after they were sold out people were still asking for more!! Exciting!!
