Just what the Dr. ordered!!

Last week we tried Orange Creamsicle.  This week we tried Dr. Pepper cupcakes.   I have to admit they are pretty good.  I think I will have to tweak some things and change our recipe a little to get the flavor just right.  However we shall see how our co-workers respond and see if they think the recipe needs to change.

I have to admit however that his frosting tasted AMAZING!  Just remember.......Dr's orders.....take two or three and call us in the morning.  That is if you can stop after two or three.

Remember....these do cause side effects such as.....watery mouth, intense cravings, and bulging eyes.  Don't worry these symptoms will resolve when you eat another cupcake.  Enjoy!

Orange...you glad you ate one!?!

These are Orangetastic!!  My brother and I decided to make these.  I hadn't tried an orange cupcake yet and wanted to try out a recipe I came up with.  These to me taste like an Orange Creamsicle.  On the next batch I think we will add orange peel to the batter and frosting.  The batter wasn't as orange flavored as I would have liked, but my mom said she has a recipe I can try.

We made these as a treat for our sister who was about to have her baby and thought she could use something sweet to take her mind off the pain and discomfort.  It worked for sure!!

Everyone who was up there was lucky enough to have one, and they were a hit with everyone!  Loot at that delicious frosting.  Yes, it tastes as good as it looks.  These are the perfect treat for a hot summer day!

God's Gift!!

Ok so we decided to venture off cupcakes this one time.  We were thinking about trying to find something that is really yummy, and would sell well at the Golf Resort.  Well these, we have decided, are God's Gift to us. OMGoodness!!!  These are rat out your Grandma good!!  These Rice Krispie treats combine all that is good in the world!  Chocolate, Peanut butter, Rice Krispies, and Reese's.  I have already filled two separate orders for these bad boys.

To quote more than one nurse that gobbled these down......"these are the BEST Rice Krispie treats I have EVER had!  I will keep you in business ordering these!"

Happy 4th!

I hope you had a fun and safe fourth of July.  The week of the fourth we were really busy.  We had a big order to fill and only a few days to fill it.  In order to ensure freshness and quality we wait until the last minute to bake everything, and then decorate it the next day.  This particular order was for a Golf resort.  They wanted some Golf themed cupcakes to go along with some holiday cupcakes.  They also asked for other baked goods. So........

These are our famous red velvet cupcakes and they certainly didn't let us down.  They were so popular that people couldn't get enough and kept coming back for more and more.  I must admit, they were absolutely divine, and looked so cute with the red, white and blue sprinkles.

We also made some chocolate chip with heath bar, and snicker doodle cookies.  Theses were so yummy, and looked so cute with the patriotic ribbon we tied around each cookie.  These were a hit!

Introducing...... Cake Bites!  Oh.... My..... Goodness!!  These are a little piece of heaven right here.  These have got to be the most delicious things EVER!  The best thing about them is that the portions are small enough you can enjoy them guilt free!  These were our biggest hit!  We made chocolate and red velvet cake bites, and then hand dipped them in white chocolate.  The red velvet were super yummy and super cute for the 4th of July.

These were our golf themed cupcakes,  and they turned out super cute!  We used fondant to make the golf balls, and our signature butter cream was colored green and piped onto the cupcakes using a grass tip.  This frosting was the best frosting we have ever made.  It took all the will power we could muster to not eat all the frosting before frosting the cupcakes.

Well, we were super excited about this order.  It was a trial run to see how well they sold at the Golf resort, and we figured what better day than the 4th of July.  If our baked goods did well then the Golf resort would become a permanent client with some big orders to fill.  We are super excited to say that they sold out of our deliciousness in only 4 hours!  The reason that is so exciting is because in only 4 hours they sold four dozen cupcakes, three dozen cake bites, three dozen cookies, and a dozen butter almond coffee bars.  Apparently the most popular item was our red velvet cupcakes and cake bites.  People couldn't get enough, and even after they were sold out people were still asking for more!!  Exciting!!

S'more Please!

One of the best things in the world to do is go camping with your family.  Nothing is more enjoyable than cuddling up next to those you love, warming yourself around a fire and making S'mores.  Well here is our version of a S'more.......  Please try to keep the drool to a minimum.

Oh Yeah baby this is what it's all about!  We created the ultimate cucpake that not even the strong can resist.  We topped this scrumptious chocolate cupcake with homemade vanilla marshmallow, sprinkled with milk chocolate shavings.

The best part of the cupcake in our opinion is the Graham cracker crust that is absolutely divine!  This Graham cracker crust is so moist and buttery is will have you coming back for more, and more....

WARNING!!! Once you bite into this cupcake your mouth will water uncontrollably, your stomach will begin to rumble at the deliciousness it is about to receive, and you may experience the urge to say, Ooooohhhhhhh.......  Please try to ignore the stares from others.

Don't worry about the feelings of panic and anxiety that are sure to follow your last bite.  We always have more!

They are so bright and colorful, perfect for a summer BBQ or birthday party.  Everyone absolutely loved them and said they weren't sure what was better the way they tasted, or how much fun it was to eat them.

They are a vanilla berry cake, and a vanilla butter cream cheese frosting.  So much fun and so yummy!

Gluten Free Vanilla...Oh yeah!

We got our first Gluten Free order.  We made a vanilla cupcake, with vanilla frosting.  Yes the frosting is vanilla we just wanted to color it a pretty turquoise......so we did.

Laura~ our gluten free taste tester at work, said they were really good.  I must admit I tried one myself and thought they were really good, and I didn't notice a difference between gluten free and Regular.  They tasted much better than they look.  For some reason the frosting in the pictures looks more like the slime thing from Ghost Busters!
